Sander Van Doorn

With an addictive energy and instinctive understanding of dance music Sander is a rare element and a breath of fresh air in a world where so many artists struggle to find a style that’s different.
Inventive, experimental, Sander van Doorn cuts a compelling and exciting figure in the world of dance music.  With an addictive energy and instinctive understanding of dance music Sander is a rare element and a breath of fresh air in a world where so many artists struggle to find a style that’s different.  Sander’s talent and unfaltering commitment have propelled him forward at a dazzling rate and now, only four years after he emerged from anonymity in Holland, Sander sits pretty amongst some of the most respected and admired artists in the world.
After being cherry picked for The Gallery when he was only a young-un, Sander went on to enter the DJ top 100 for the first time at 32 in 2006 and then climbing to 15 in 2007. Something first spotted by The Gallery however, was that from the very beginning he has been able to command a dance floor, and deliver sublime and versatile sets with a confidence only found in those whom DJing comes naturally.
Baring all this in mind, I think it is fair to ask the question, “is the world ready for a Sander Van Doorn long-player?” and the response cry is a resounding yes! Landing at the beginning of March, Sander’s album ‘Supernaturalistic’ promises to showcase everything he does best behind the decks and in the studio, pushing and challenging the boundaries of trance, techno and minimal house music to create something beautiful.
But for all the success and the media hype that has surrounded him, Sander is neither an awkward studio nerd, or in orbit around his ego, but rather has a rare charisma and without a doubt one of the best smiles in dance music.
