Last Week's Interview: Jazzy M

As we look back and salute Ministry of Sound's origional heroes at this Saturday's Rulin party, it seems only right that we take five minutes with Jazzy M.

Hello Jazzy!

Thanks for sitting down with us ahead of your set in the Box this Saturday for Rulin Classics, we're really excited here about getting you back into The Box, a room that you've got more history with than any other DJ on the planet. For those of our crowd not too familiar with you and your background, can you please fill em in with your role here at Ministry of Sound and history within the club?

I've been representing the Ministry both as resident DJ for 7 years and Taken MoS around the globe playin a massive 75 countries on various world tours also Ive got a weekly radio show which has run since we had a station , and I'm still here workin for them so people will always associate me with the Ministry.

I'm sure there's many, but what have been your highlights of playing here over the years? If you had to pin a favourite set(s) that you've played, what would you say they were?

Its got to be when I played various 8-10 hour sets for my birthdays which always fell on the first saturday after new years eve. So it was hard to get the numbers in but we always had about 1500 in and had a great time playing .You could go on a cruise with the sounds both old and new.

I bet you've also witnessed some legendary sets from other DJs in that Box.. What ones would you say were the ones that stand out and why?
