This Saturday 'Save The Children' will be collecting on the door, raising money for those who have to struggle and fight for even the most basic of life’s requirements. Food, water, shelter, an education and just the right to live in peace are being denied daily to children all over the world, including some living in Britain and we your friendly local disco, want to help put a stop to it!
Ten million children die every year before their 5th Birthday, often dying needlessly from illness that we can treat or prevent, simple action that 'Save The Children' can take with the support of the general public.
By focusing their attentions on four fundamental rights for children: health, freedom from hunger, education and protection, 'Save The Children' aim to influence decision makers around the world, completely changing what is accepted as the norm for children in the world today.
