The club is situated behind the university exit of Elephant & Castle tube station. This can be reached by the Northern and Bakerloo lines. We can also be reached by National Rail. Turn left out of the university exit of the station and take the second left to Gaunt Street. If in doubt, follow the music!

If you’re arriving by taxi ask the driver for Ministry of Sound, Gaunt Street, Elephant & Castle.
We advise taking public transport to and from the venue. The surrounding area is a residential zone that requires permits for parking - There are no public parking spaces available near the venue.
If walking to and from the venue, please be aware that the surrounding area is a residential zone. please respect our neighbours at all times and keep noise to a minimum. Our neighbours are not just the people who live next door, they also extend throughout the borough of Southwark.
Elephant & Castle underground station opens around 5:30am on Saturday mornings and around 7:00am on Sunday mornings. Check TfL for full service updates. Alternatively the night tube operates from Kennington underground station and Southwark underground station.
Buses run throughout the night and can be picked up from several stops near to the club. Please take a look at TfL for further details. When taking a taxi home it’s important to stay safe. ACS Cars are on site to provide licensed and legal cabs on our behalf, all fully insured with capped reasonable fares.
We’re open Fridays 10.30pm – 6.00am and Saturdays 11:00pm – 6:00am.
Last entry on a Friday is 4.00am and Saturday is 4.00am.
We ask that our customers arrive smartly dressed and keep it stylish, fashionable and fresh. Jeans, t-shirts and branded trainers are all fine. We advise against wearing tracksuits and caps. Shorts are allowed as long as they are smart (no tracksuit style or sports shorts). We work hard to make sure Ministry of Sound looks ready for you to party so we ask that you do the same.
You can purchase tickets online from our listings, often saving you a bit of money if you book in advance! Of course, you can also purchase your tickets on the door.
There is no re-entry to the club.
No, we’d prefer it if you didn’t (for the sake of the polar bears). If you have to then please feel free to, but we would like you to consider the environment first.
All customers will be asked to provide ID before entry into the venue which will be scanned before entry. Please be prepared to prove your age at any time with valid identification.
We will only accept a UK photo card driving licence, passport, or PASS identification card bearing the PASS hologram. In conjunction with local authority guidance, we operate an ID seizure policy whereby any false ID will be confiscated and handed over to the police. The club's management reserves the right to refuse admission. If you’re old enough, look the part and act the right way then you’ll be welcomed to the club. We encourage people to drink responsibly, so we reserve the right to refuse admission or service to customers who are, or appear to be, intoxicated.
Prepaid tickets & packages are sold on a non-refundable basis.
We will sometimes operate a random search policy of customers, in the interest of customer safety. This search policy may be implemented depending on the type of event taking place, risk assessment or on advice of the police. We operate a zero tolerance policy on drugs and anyone suspected of taking or dealing in drugs will be searched and ejected from the venue. In instances where drugs are found customers will be detained and the matter will be reported to the police.
If an item is found in the club or left in the cloakroom and not collected we’ll endeavour to store the item for a maximum of 30 days. If you’ve lost an item please send us a message via email@example.com with as much detail about the item as possible, where it was left (if you’re aware) and when. The more detail you give us the easier it is for us to attempt to locate your item.
Discounted student tickets are displayed on the event ticket page. Please ensure you bring a valid student ID. Anyone who does not display a valid student ID will have to pay the standard general admission price.
Yes, you'll find it to the right of the entrance, after you pass the cloakroom. We also accept payment by card at the ticket office and our bars.
Yes, but on the lower level only.
Personal photos are fine but we do not allow any unauthorised filming or photography during club nights. Anyone found doing this without prior permission is at risk of having his or her property confiscated.
There may be promotional and/or commercial photography, video and/or audio recording of the club, the DJ's and customers. By entering the club, you consent to the filming and recording of your likeness for use by Ministry of Sound. Such consent includes use by Ministry of Sound for any and all purposes in all media.
